Sourcing Internship – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sourcing Intern to support our procurement team. The internship offers hands‑on experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and purchasing operations within a global tubular solutions company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date purchasing records and pricing data in the internal system.
• Execute daily purchasing tasks, including preparation of purchase orders and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal user departments and external suppliers to define scope of work for assigned projects.
• Assist in managing local and overseas orders, monitoring deliveries and handling claims for defects, shortages or missing parts.
• Support tender processes by providing quotations and sourcing new parts, suppliers or subcontractors as needed.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best combination of quality, price, terms, delivery and service.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment to ensure material availability.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Eager to develop commercial awareness, negotiation skills and understanding of procurement best practices.
