Supply Chain Logistics Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager oversees the complete flow of materials for a metal‑fabrication operation, from sourcing raw sheet metal and hardware to delivering finished enclosures on schedule. The role balances cost efficiency with production continuity, ensuring the shop floor never runs short of critical components.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure competitive contracts for raw sheet steel, pipes, powder‑coat chemicals and other components.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems to avoid bottlenecks and reduce excess stock.
• Evaluate vendor performance, audit lead times and quality, and develop backup supplier relationships.
• Supervise receiving, storage, and kitting of materials for cutting and assembly lines.
• Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to forecast material demand based on project pipelines.
• Manage customs documentation, freight regulations and international shipping for bulky finished enclosures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Distribution or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of supply chain and logistics management experience, preferably in metal fabrication or high‑volume hardware assembly.
• Strong command of English (or Arabic).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience using inventory management software.
