Tax & Zakat Supervisor

About the role

The Reef Group is looking for an experienced Tax & Zakat Supervisor to lead its tax function in Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing both direct and indirect tax compliance, ensuring alignment with Saudi and GCC regulations, and supporting the company’s financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate income tax, zakat, VAT, withholding tax, real estate transaction tax and related tax provisions.
• Monitor legislative changes across Saudi Arabia and the GCC and advise on risk mitigation.
• Prepare and present periodic tax and zakat reports for senior management.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and compliance with local and international guidelines.
• Review invoices, accounting entries and commercial contracts for correct tax treatment.
• Develop and improve tax policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and coach the Tax & Zakat team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Participate in finance transformation and ERP implementation projects to embed tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in Saudi tax and zakat, including VAT and withholding tax.
• Proven experience with transfer pricing policies and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
