Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer provides technical assistance and solutions to customers and internal teams. The role involves troubleshooting issues, supporting product commissioning, and ensuring proper system functionality while acting as a key liaison for warranty claims and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing technical issues related to warranty claims and propose solutions under senior‑engineer guidance.
• Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution.
• Support installation, testing and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems during field commissioning.
• Document commissioning issues and collaborate on their resolution.
• Aid project teams with technical tasks, problem‑solving and preparation of engineering documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, test results, warranty resolutions and commissioning logs.
• Prepare and review clear technical reports and documentation.
• Engage in continuous learning through mentorship and training programs.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational targets, provide periodic deviation reports and escalate complex issues.
• Ensure quality control, compliance with policies, and adherence to health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to acquire updated soft and technical skills related to the role.
