Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Eastern

About the role

The Testing & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for commissioning and conducting tests on power plant and substation equipment prior to operational hand‑over. The role ensures all functional testing, documentation and safety procedures are carried out in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update test reports, document non‑conformances and troubleshooting actions.
• Execute functional and site testing of power plant and substation equipment, including relays, switchgear and transformers.
• Coordinate testing activities during customer inspections and resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Review design documents and provide technical support before release.
• Initiate continuous improvement actions and maintain related records.
• Train and lead sub‑ordinates, delegating tasks to ensure effective teamwork.
• Deliver planned activities within schedule and budget, reporting deviations and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduate acceptable).
• Ability to work on‑site in a power plant environment.
• Strong leadership and training capabilities for junior team members.
