Testing Team Leader

About the role

The Testing Team Leader will oversee the planning, implementation and control of application testing and deployment within Riyad Bank’s IT environment. This role ensures that systems and applications are aligned with business requirements, maintain high availability and support operational efficiency across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor departmental policies, processes and procedures, ensuring controlled and compliant work execution.
• Lead day‑to‑day testing operations, coordinating application implementation, configuration and code migration.
• Control development and modification of applications, guaranteeing alignment with business requests and architectural design.
• Coordinate with external vendors to obtain cost‑effective development services when internal resources are insufficient.
• Monitor application performance, resolve complex incidents reported by the Services Center and ensure system stability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all interventions, supporting knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare timely departmental reports and represent the function in internal and external committees.
• Manage the team by setting clear objectives, providing performance feedback, conducting appraisals and fostering the development of Saudi national talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in banking IT, with strong knowledge of banking systems and operations.
• Proven project management capabilities and experience leading testing or quality‑assurance teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work with Saudi national staff development and compliance with local employment policies.
