Toyota Technician – Automotive Service Specialist

About the role

The Toyota Technician is responsible for performing mechanical repair services and related tasks in the service centre. The role aims to achieve targets in customer satisfaction and gross service sales while adhering to the company’s mission, vision, values, and standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and periodic maintenance according to customer requests and under the supervision of the Chief Technician.
• Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections and evaluations using appropriate tools to determine damage and repair scope.
• Ensure work is completed with the required quality, following TMC standards, correct tools, and the 5S workplace organization method.
• Participate in solving high‑technical problems with assistance from team leaders and workshop managers.
• Maintain accurate records of sold hours versus attending hours and meet delivery time and cost estimates.
• Promote a guest‑centric mindset to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Works under a high level of supervision with limited authority over daily functional operations.
• Committed to following standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Focused on delivering first‑time right repairs in a timely manner.
