Vibration Engineer – HT Motor

About the role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Vibration Engineer specialized in high‑tension (HT) motors to join its engineering team. The role involves performing vibration spectrum analysis and supporting the reliability of rotating electrical equipment across energy, water and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vibration and acoustics data collection for motors and generators.
• Perform spectrum, time‑waveform and peak‑view analysis to identify faults.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Recommend repair strategies, bearing condition assessments and scope of work.
• Utilize CSI 2130, CSI 2140 and Bently ADRE software for data analysis.
• Execute online balancing, laser alignment, infrared, ultrasound and lubrication inspections.
• Plan and manage travel to on‑site locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in vibration data analysis of rotating equipment.
• Level 2/3 Vibration Analyst knowledge.
• Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals of motors, generators and related rotating machinery.

Required skills

• Vibration spectrum analysis.
• CSI 2130, CSI 2140, Bently ADRE software.
• Spectral, time‑waveform and peak‑view analysis techniques.
• Online balancing and laser alignment.
• Infrared and ultrasound inspection.
• Lubrication and bearing replacement procedures.
• Knowledge of fits, tolerances and rotating machinery fundamentals (pumps, gearboxes, compressors, etc.).
