Waiter – Food & Beverage Team

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and guest‑focused Waiter to join the Food & Beverage team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). The role is essential for delivering exceptional dining experiences and ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well served.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond to requests.
• Prepare, clear, and reset tables according to hotel standards.
• Handle guest bills accurately and process payments.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the hotel uniform.
• Assist team members with additional duties as required by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or customer‑service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
