Welding & Mechanical Training Specialist

About the role

Eram Talent, a talent acquisition consultancy active in the Oil & Energy sector, is recruiting a Welding & Mechanical Training Specialist for a position in Saudi Arabia. The specialist designs, develops and delivers training programmes that improve the skills and knowledge of welding and mechanical personnel, working with technical teams and management to assess needs, prepare materials and run hands-on sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs for welding and mechanical disciplines through stakeholder consultation and performance evaluation.
• Develop training curricula, lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the target audience.
• Deliver training sessions, including practical demonstrations and theoretical instruction.
• Evaluate trainee performance and give constructive feedback and improvement recommendations.
• Ensure programmes comply with safety standards, industry codes and company policies.
• Maintain records of training activities, attendance and outcomes.
• Keep up to date with the latest welding and mechanical technologies and best practices.
• Work with technical and operational teams to align training with company goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in welding and mechanical training, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
• Proven experience developing and delivering training programmes, including hands-on practical sessions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess training needs and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industrial best practices.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of welding processes, mechanical systems and industry standards such as ASME, AWS and API.
• Training programme design and delivery.
