Wireline Logging Technician

About the role

Gold and Minerals Ltd is seeking a Wireline Logging Technician to support its exploration drilling programs in Saudi Arabia. The role involves operating and maintaining wireline logging equipment to acquire high‑quality downhole geophysical data for two major projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate and operate wireline logging equipment during drilling campaigns.
• Conduct downhole geophysical logging surveys safely and efficiently.
• Maintain logging tools, report equipment issues, and perform routine calibrations.
• Assist with mobilisation, demobilisation and field setup of logging systems.
• Acquire and monitor data quality for gamma, density, resistivity and other logging methods.
• Download, organise, archive logging data and prepare field summaries.
• Coordinate activities with drill crews, geologists and geophysicists.
• Follow all company HSE policies and procedures.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in wireline logging, downhole geophysics, mineral exploration or drilling support (recent graduates may be considered).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and field data management software.
• Ability to work safely in remote locations on a rotational roster.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
