Account Director – Government Relations (Saudi National)

About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a Saudi‑national Account Director – Government to lead and grow strategic relationships with government ministries, embassies, state‑owned enterprises and key national institutions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The role acts as the senior commercial ambassador, positioning the resort as the preferred venue for official delegations, executive retreats and high‑profile events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting government ministries, diplomatic missions and state‑owned entities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers across KSA and GCC markets.
• Identify, negotiate and secure opportunities for official delegations, executive retreats, diplomatic stays and large‑scale events.
• Manage a portfolio of high‑value accounts, set revenue targets and monitor performance.
• Coordinate tailored site inspections, presentations and curated experiences for prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Events, Operations and Revenue teams to ensure seamless delivery of all engagements.
• Uphold privacy standards and readiness for high‑profile guests.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in government account management, hospitality sales or related commercial roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with commercial systems.
