Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager leads the finance team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This senior position ensures the integrity of the general ledger, oversees month‑end and year‑end close processes, and supports strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function, guaranteeing compliance with IFRS, GAAP, fiscal and statutory regulations.
• Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and the full month‑end/year‑end closing cycle.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to protect financial assets.
• Lead the annual audit, coordinating with statutory auditors and internal reporting teams.
• Develop and maintain group accounting policies, standards, and processes.
• Drive improvements in ERP systems, reporting tools, and consolidation methodologies.
• Collaborate with other finance sub‑functions and external parties to ensure timely information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a comparable field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Proven experience managing audits and leading accounting teams.
