About the role
The Advisor, Operational Excellence will lead the design and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Working closely with multiple departments, the role aims to streamline processes, reduce waste, and boost overall operational performance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate existing processes, systems, and structures to identify performance gaps and propose solutions.
- Develop and execute process‑optimization projects that lower operating costs and improve efficiency.
- Facilitate the adoption of continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, EFQM, TQM and ISO 9000.
- Track, analyse and report on relevant data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
- Lead change‑management activities to ensure smooth transitions and address performance deficiencies.
- Coordinate with all functions to align improvement initiatives and drive organization‑wide transformation.
- Prepare reports and presentations that communicate performance, progress and future improvement plans.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the utilities sector or in a leading organization.
- Proven track record of leading operational‑excellence or continuous‑improvement programmes.
