Application Support Engineer

About the role

ONFTECH AL ARABIA is looking for an Application Support Engineer to join its technology team in Riyadh. You will be the first line of technical assistance for both internal and external customers, handling tickets, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1‑2 support for ONFTECH products via ticketing system, remote desktop, phone, IM, and on‑site visits when needed.
• Log, prioritize, and track issues using support ticket software while meeting SLA requirements.
• Analyze software and hardware problems, develop permanent solutions, and implement workarounds.
• Gather customer feedback and relay it to the Product team to drive product improvements.
• Act as the technical point of contact for partner and customer training.
• Prepare and share periodic support reports with customers.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Computer Programming, Information Systems or related field (preferred).
• Experience creating clear documentation for users with mixed technical knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience in a help‑desk environment working under SLAs.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with a strong customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• MS SQL or any SQL platform.
• API development/consumption, SOAP.
• Postman (preferred).
• Knowledge of MQ systems such as IBM MQ or Rabbit MQ (preferred).
• Setup and support for email, VPN and remote‑access solutions.
• Proficiency with ticketing and remote‑desktop software.
