Asset Lifecycle Planning Director

About the role

The Asset Lifecycle Planning Director will lead the development of a city‑wide asset lifecycle planning framework for JASARA PMC. Reporting to senior management, the role integrates condition, risk, cost and performance data to shape renewal pipelines and ensure decisions follow a unified ISO 55001‑aligned asset management approach.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement city‑wide lifecycle planning principles, policies, renewal rules and intervention thresholds.
• Coordinate with asset leads to align lifecycle plans with asset condition, criticality, service levels and operational feedback.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise AM Systems / SAP EAMS Director to ensure data, dashboards and decision‑support outputs are accurate and trusted.
• Establish risk‑based prioritisation and whole‑life cost analysis for portfolio‑level budgeting.
• Drive continual improvement of asset management processes and data governance across all city portfolios.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in asset management, lifecycle planning or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale infrastructure or city‑wide asset programmes.
• Strong understanding of ISO 55001 standards and risk‑based decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
