Assistant Cost Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Cost Manager to join our team on a high‑profile multipurpose venue project in Riyadh. The role supports the cost management function across the full project lifecycle, ensuring accurate cost planning, procurement and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in feasibility studies, procurement strategies and preparation of procurement reports.
• Support value management, estimating and cost planning activities to develop reliable project cost plans.
• Participate in the procurement process, including pre‑qualification, tender enquiries, bid analysis, contractor selection and contract preparation.
• Help prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, licences and manage contract variations in line with contractual requirements.
• Provide cost control, financial reporting and cost analysis, monitoring design changes, contract awards and construction activities.
• Contribute to contract administration tasks such as practical completion, final accounts, defect rectification certification and final completion.
• Offer cost management support to project teams, build stakeholder relationships and promote collaborative working practices.
• Guide junior team members and support net‑zero carbon initiatives through proactive carbon management.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost planning, measurement, variations and reporting within the construction sector.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects.
