Assistant Director – Regional Client Executive – Business Development

About the role

EY is seeking an Assistant Director – Regional Client Executive to lead business development across priority sectors in Saudi Arabia. The role will drive growth, manage client relationships and lead strategic pursuits for government and infrastructure programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish trusted, long‑term relationships with C‑level executives in government entities, semi‑government organisations and national programmes.
• Act as a consultative advisor, identify sector‑specific client needs and propose solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Drive revenue, sales and pipeline growth through account planning, opportunity management and strategic initiatives across KSA priority sectors.
• Participate in complex pursuits, lead presentations, negotiations and proposal development.
• Collaborate with service‑line leaders to develop sector‑focused growth strategies and provide market, regulatory and competitive insights.
• Implement account‑management excellence using EY frameworks, monitor pipeline trends and contribute to revenue planning for strategic accounts.
• Coach and mentor junior business‑development staff to build high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• Proven ability to sell complex solutions and services at the C‑level across infrastructure, government programmes, tourism, sports, health and education sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and influence across a matrixed organisation.
• Experience in account management, pipeline development and opportunity creation within large‑scale public‑sector environments.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and client‑facing presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, multicultural settings.
• Familiarity with tendering processes, public‑sector procurement, proposals and pursuit methodologies.
• Capability to transform data into strategic insights.
