Assistant Pool Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Pool Bar Manager supports the Pool Bar Manager in delivering seamless, high‑end service at Rosewood AMAALA’s pool bar. This position helps create memorable, personalized beverage experiences for guests while upholding Forbes Travel Guide standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily pool bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain impeccable service standards, beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with HACCP and local regulations.
• Deliver highly personalized service, anticipate guest preferences and handle feedback professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of pool bar associates; conduct daily briefings.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Help curate innovative beverage menus, including cocktails, mocktails and wellness‑focused offerings.
• Drive upselling, monitor stock levels, control costs and minimize wastage.
• Assist with inventory management and supplier coordination.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts, preferably in bar or poolside environments.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology and current industry trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
