Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Computer Science & Software Engineering

About the role

The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Prince Sultan University is inviting applications for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor. The appointment starts in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (August 9 2026) and covers a broad range of undergraduate, master’s and PhD programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach courses across Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI, Data Science and related areas.
• Conduct high‑quality research, secure external funding and publish in leading international journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited North American or European university.
• Demonstrated record of excellent teaching and the potential to obtain research funding.
• Evidence of publications in ISI/Scopus Q1‑Q2 journals.
• Experience supervising student research and integrating Sustainable Development Goals into curricula.
