Associate / Full Professor – Architecture

About the role

Effat University College of Architecture and Design is seeking experienced academics for full‑time faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Architecture. The successful candidate will join a vibrant community, teaching both graduate and undergraduate programmes while advancing the college’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and design studios.
• Conduct high‑quality scholarly research and publish in leading journals.
• Secure research funding and foster collaborations with industry partners.
• Contribute to departmental and college service, including curriculum development and academic committees.

Required profile

• PhD, MSc and BSc in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Demonstrated record of outstanding research and publications.
• Proven ability to obtain research grants and maintain strong industry connections.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English.
