Associate/Full Professor in Production (Cinematic Arts)

About the role

The College of Architecture and Design at Effat University seeks to appoint an Associate or Full Professor in Production with a focus on Cinematic Arts. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty team, delivering both undergraduate and graduate programmes and advancing the college’s research profile.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative, practice-oriented courses in Production and Cinematic Arts for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Supervise student theses, capstone projects and research activities.
• Conduct high-quality scholarly research and publish in leading international journals.
• Contribute to departmental and college research strategies and secure external research funding.
• Foster strong industry connections to enhance curriculum relevance and collaborative opportunities.

Required profile

• PhD (with BSc and MSc) in Production from an accredited university.
• At least five years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Demonstrated record of research publications and ability to attract research grants.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
