AV Assistant Manager

About the role

The AV Assistant Manager will oversee all audio‑visual and related technology systems within Sofitel Madina, ensuring uninterrupted service for guests and smooth support for hotel operations. This role combines technical expertise with coordination across multiple departments to maintain high‑quality AV, security and guest technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hotel television and IPTV systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, upgrades and inventory control.
• Oversee electronic door lock systems – installation, programming, configuration, troubleshooting and spare‑parts stock.
• Supervise CCTV infrastructure – camera installation, recording equipment setup, monitoring support and maintenance, plus equipment inventory.
• Handle sound systems, meeting‑room AV equipment, projectors, displays, microphones and conferencing solutions, ensuring proper installation, configuration and upkeep.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for all assigned AV, security and guest‑technology services.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades and service improvements with Engineering, Rooms Division, Security, Procurement, Finance and other departments.
• Maintain accurate AV‑related inventory, asset tracking and replenishment planning.
• Manage third‑party vendors, contractors and service providers to guarantee timely maintenance, warranties and service delivery.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance complies with hotel standards and manufacturer recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience in AV and multimedia systems administration.
• Knowledge of TV, IPTV and electronic door lock technologies.
• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems.
• Proven ability in inventory and asset management.
• Experience managing vendors and contractors.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to document projects.
