AV IT Operations Technician (events/hybrid)

About the role

This permanent position supports the IT and audiovisual (AV) infrastructure for live and hybrid events in Riyadh and internationally. The technician ensures reliable connectivity, AV equipment setup, and seamless virtual participation for each event.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate internet bandwidth for events, reviewing hotel RFPs and logistics.
• Ship, install, and configure network/Wi‑Fi kits at event venues.
• Manage on‑site IT setup during event days, including Zoom sessions, primary and backup internet connections, VPN/RDP access, projectors, wireless microphones, and recording quality.
• Provide backup connectivity using 4G routers, SIM cards, and adapters.
• Escalate technical issues to hotel IT teams and ensure rapid resolution.
• Maintain post‑event inventory, reporting, and HQ IT support between events.
• Assist with IT purchasing and equipment procurement.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional IT experience.
• Hands‑on experience with hybrid/live‑event AV and networking.
• BSc in Computer Science (essential).
• Advanced user of Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English; Arabic strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
