Bauer Compressors Technician

About the role

The Bauer Compressors Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Bauer compressor equipment and associated breathing‑air systems at our Jubail facility. The role requires hands‑on expertise with high‑pressure compressors, gas management, and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Service and rebuild Bauer compressors (e.g., Mariner 320‑E/D, O13‑E/D, O320‑E/D) including high‑pressure blocks, pistons, cylinders, and valve assemblies.
• Maintain SCBA and Cascade breathing‑air systems up to 6,000 psi, including CO and H₂S monitoring shutdowns.
• Diagnose and repair PLC controls, logic boards, auto‑drain systems, and pressure switches.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, read mechanical and electrical diagrams, and conduct hydrostatic testing per DOT guidelines.
• Generate daily reports, parts requisitions, and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Bauer compressors and high‑pressure breathing‑air equipment.
• Certification from the Bauer Compressors Training Academy (Level 3 or Level Gold) and specialized training for breathing‑air and gas‑management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work on onshore and offshore rigs.
