Bending Press Operator – Ministry of Defense, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Bending Press Operator to join Greenland Group. You will operate CNC and manual press brakes to produce precision‑bent metal components for critical defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Select, install, and adjust dies, tooling, and gauges according to job specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings, CAD files, and work orders to determine bending angles, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Operation & Calibration: Run CNC or manual press brakes, adjusting tonnage, ram depth, and speed in real time.
• Quality Control: Measure finished parts with calipers, micrometers and protractors to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine lubrication, cleaning and minor repairs; resolve malfunctions promptly.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA and facility safety protocols, wear required PPE and handle heavy metal sheets safely.

Required profile

• HSC Diploma (Vocational) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating press brakes in an industrial setting.
• Experience in sectors such as training institutes, real estate, chemical industries or motor workshops is advantageous.
