Bid Manager

About the role

The Bid Manager will join the regional hub sales support team for Compression, preparing quotes for spare parts, repair opportunities and full‑outage projects. You will work closely with Client Managers to understand customer needs and identify service opportunities, acting as the bridge between product competence centers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial service proposals for spare parts, repairs and outage projects.
• Provide administrative, technical and commercial support to the sales team.
• Develop the scope of proposals in collaboration with product, engineering, manufacturing and service project management.
• Request and consolidate pricing from affiliate vendors to support bid preparation.
• Coordinate order handling with supply‑chain, engineering and other departments.
• Participate in continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and sales cycles.
• Experience in complex tender compilation and preparation.
• Excellent business acumen, commercial sense and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool.
• Advanced use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Technical understanding of rotating equipment.
