Business Development Executive – Outdoor Sales

About the role

Sun Tours is seeking a Business Development Executive – Outdoor Sales to join its Saudi Arabia team. The role is field‑based and focuses on creating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales of travel and tourism services through direct engagement and networking.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Saudi market.
• Conduct regular outdoor visits and face‑to‑face meetings with potential and existing clients.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, events, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, organisations and other partners.
• Present and promote Sun Tours’ travel and tourism services.
• Understand client travel requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions and quotations.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and commercial offers.
• Follow up with leads, convert opportunities into confirmed business and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to increase retention and generate repeat business.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and new opportunities within the Saudi tourism sector.
• Represent Sun Tours at business meetings, networking events, exhibitions and industry functions.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client visits, opportunities and sales activities, and provide regular reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in outdoor sales, business development, B2B sales or travel and tourism sales.
• Proven experience in the Saudi market (mandatory).
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert them into business.
