About the role
This is a pure business development position focused on establishing a market presence in Saudi Arabia for a global leader in industrial water treatment technology. You will be the first on‑ground representative, responsible for creating a pipeline from scratch across key sectors such as oil & gas, infrastructure, data centres, and EPC water projects.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead the KSA market entry strategy, targeting high‑value customers in oil & gas, infrastructure, data centres, and EPC water projects.
- Develop a qualified sales pipeline from zero, securing new contracts and driving market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with a world‑class technical and engineering team to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with government, semi‑government, and SABIC stakeholders.
- Represent the company as the sole on‑site point of contact, reporting progress and market insights to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Proven “hunter” with a track record of building a sales business from the ground up in Saudi Arabia.
- Deep knowledge of EPC water projects, industrial chemicals, or offshore oil & gas systems.
- Established network across government, semi‑government, and SABIC entities.
- Entrepreneurial, self‑driven, and comfortable operating as the first and only person on the ground.
- Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory; an expatriate with strong KSA market knowledge is also welcome.
