Business Development Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Business Development Manager / Country Commercial Lead to manage and grow our commercial presence in Saudi Arabia. This execution‑focused role involves visiting existing food and pharmaceutical manufacturing customers, acting as the local face of the company and handling day‑to‑day accounts and coordination for our portfolio of raw materials, primary packaging, and machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a high frequency of face‑to‑face visits with existing food and pharma accounts across KSA’s industrial cities.
• Serve as the first line of contact for procurement and factory floor managers, handling material orders, technical inquiries, and machinery delivery updates.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts and introduce additional product lines such as primary packaging films or machinery upgrades.
• Track and report on local sales pipelines, order forecasts, and client consumption patterns.
• Coordinate regulatory and SFDA product registrations, customs clearance, and logistics with local distributors and clearing agents.
• Monitor payment terms and assist finance in collecting outstanding invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or Business.
• 4–6 years of B2B sales experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably selling technical products to the food or pharma sectors.
• Strong aptitude for technical sales, willingness to learn packaging and machinery portfolios, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Bilingual Arabic and English preferred; valid KSA driving licence and willingness to travel extensively between industrial cities.
