Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will join Mintad’s Riyadh office to drive growth across its event, exhibition and conference services. Working full‑time on‑site, the role focuses on uncovering new business opportunities, analysing financial viability and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business prospects in the events and exhibitions market.
• Conduct financial analyses and develop growth strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, marketing) to align proposals with client needs.
• Prepare and present business proposals and performance reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure alignment of business development activities with company objectives and client satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new business development or sales, preferably in events, exhibitions or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder management.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on relationship building.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
