About the role
Yokogawa is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth in a defined geographic region. You will work closely with the sales team to identify market opportunities, understand customer needs, and promote Yokogawa’s industrial automation and digital solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse sales and market data to pinpoint areas for business development.
- Prepare and deliver clear presentations for sales calls, asking targeted questions to assess customer interest.
- Develop and execute a customer contact plan for product launches and sales campaigns.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Identify potential customers through referrals, trade shows, and conferences.
- Match customer needs with appropriate products or services and guide them through the purchase process.
- Oversee the use of the CRM system, resolve standard issues, and report escalations.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting solutions and handling customer queries.
- Proactive approach to prospecting and relationship building.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
