Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to drive merchant acquisition for our Buy‑Now‑Pay‑Later (BNPL) solution. You will work directly with offline and online retailers, introducing them to our installment offering and guiding them through the onboarding process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and onboarding.
• Visit retail locations, commercial centers and e‑commerce partners to pitch BNPL services.
• Educate store owners and managers on partnership benefits.
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with company pricing and policy.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with merchants.
• Support merchants during initial system activation and training.
• Act as the primary point of contact for early‑stage merchant queries.
• Map high‑potential sectors (fashion, electronics, furniture, etc.) and plan field activities.
• Report daily/weekly progress and collaborate with marketing and product teams on merchant‑specific campaigns.
• Provide feedback to improve acquisition tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales or partnerships, preferably in fintech, banking or payments.
• Proven track record selling to e‑commerce and retail vendors.
• Strong understanding of BNPL, digital lending and consumer finance models.
• High energy, goal‑oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in English.
