Cafeteria Attendant

About the role

The Cafeteria Attendant supports the daily operation of the team‑member cafeteria at FAENA The Red Sea, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all staff. You will play a key part in delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining the highest hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cafeteria service and dining areas before, during, and after meal periods.
• Set up, replenish, and clear food and beverage stations, ensuring all service items are properly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, service stations, and surrounding areas.
• Promptly clear used dishes, trays, and utensils and transfer them to designated washing areas.
• Monitor stations, replenish items as needed, and support portion control to minimize waste.
• Assist with receiving, organizing supplies, and reporting shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, safety procedures, and proper waste segregation.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, and other departments, and support end‑of‑service cleaning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, hotel, or similar food‑service environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, hygienic workspace.
