Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The hotel is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its maintenance team. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing a variety of interior elements to ensure a high‑quality guest environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair walls, partitions, drywall, wallpaper, millwork, molding, and faux finishes.
• Install and repair laminate finishes and perform rough‑in framing for doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Construct and maintain wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture, and other fixtures throughout the property.
• Carry out minor repairs including tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Order supplies, complete requisitions, obtain approvals, and work with approved vendors.
• Load, transport, and unload freight using hand trucks and elevators.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant carpentry or maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
