Cashier (Saudi Nationals Only) – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer‑focused Cashier to join our high‑quality counter‑service and self‑service restaurant in Riyadh. The role involves processing orders and payments accurately, delivering excellent service, and supporting upselling while coordinating closely with the kitchen and service team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions correctly.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, promotions, and options.
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions.
• Recommend additional items and support upselling opportunities.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Prepare and hand over dine‑in trays and takeaway orders.
• Check orders before handover for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable cashier and service area.
• Complete end‑of‑day cash reconciliation and prepare closing reports.
• Report any cash discrepancies or POS issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience as a Cashier in a high‑quality counter‑service or self‑service restaurant.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
