Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead the day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes for our Riyadh office. This role ensures accurate accounting, timely reporting and effective support to internal departments and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee account balancing, ledger reconciliation and discrepancy resolution across general and subsidiary ledgers.
• Coordinate and implement accounting projects, SOP audits and compliance with relevant federal and state regulations.
• Generate accurate financial reports, presentations and period‑end statements.
• Monitor taxes, profit‑and‑loss statements and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide guidance to other finance and accounting staff on budgeting policies and efficient resource utilization.
• Conduct credit reference checks and verify contracts for direct‑billed groups when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (4‑year program).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in finance or accounting functions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems and meet reporting deadlines.
