Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead Tameed’s cybersecurity function in Riyadh. The CISO will shape the security strategy, ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and protect the company’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Cybersecurity General Department and oversee global services and vendor security.
• Report cybersecurity status to senior management and the board.
• Implement, monitor and maintain the SAMA cyber‑security framework across the organization.
• Set up, operate and monitor a Security Operations Center (SOC) and associated tools.
• Respond to incidents, conduct remediation and manage incident reporting.
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and close identified gaps.
• Perform audits, risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures and awareness training for all employees and third‑party vendors.
• Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and close any regulatory gaps.
• Provide weekly cybersecurity updates to the CEO and relevant committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in GRC, IT/Security operations, SOC management or networking.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
