Chief Operating Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to partner with the CEO in driving strategic leadership and overseeing day‑to‑day operations across all business units. The role ensures that corporate strategy is translated into operational execution, delivering profitable growth and disciplined governance in multi‑site facilities management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the CEO’s deputy, assuming full responsibility for operational decisions when required.
• Own the operational P&L by contract and region, delivering margin targets and controlling costs.
• Ensure contract compliance, KPI achievement, service quality and client satisfaction across all sites.
• Lead mobilisation of new contracts, including staffing, onboarding, permits, site readiness and hand‑over documentation.
• Set up and maintain CAFM systems, asset registers, preventive‑maintenance plans, work orders and reporting.
• Develop and enforce a standardized FM operating model with SOPs, audits, toolbox talks and escalation paths.
• Drive productivity improvements through manpower planning, roster optimisation, multi‑skilling and subcontractor control.
• Own the HSE strategy, conduct incident investigations and ensure compliance with client and KSA regulations.
• Manage procurement, vendor performance, spare‑parts planning and cost‑reduction initiatives without service degradation.
• Oversee client governance, monthly service reviews, KPI dashboards and issue resolution.
• Define annual budgets, operating plans, pipeline management and Saudization strategy.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in multi‑site operations, preferably within facilities management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships with clients, government entities and internal teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and drive performance improvement.
