Chief Strategy Officer

About the role

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a senior member of the executive team responsible for defining the long‑term vision and strategic direction of the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the CSO works closely with cross‑functional leaders to translate market insights into actionable growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation, continuous refinement, and execution of the company’s strategic plan.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify cross‑functional synergies and drive strategic initiatives.
• Conduct in‑depth market and competitive analyses to uncover emerging trends and growth opportunities.
• Engage with investors, partners, and community leaders to champion the organization’s strategic vision.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of strategic projects.
• Promote a culture of innovation and strategic thinking throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or related fields.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with a proven record of delivering successful business strategies.
• Experience leading business transformation and change‑management initiatives.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategy.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
