Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer (CTDTO) leads the enterprise-wide technology and digital agenda, ensuring the company stays competitive, innovative and resilient. Reporting to the CEO, the CTDTO shapes the roadmap that drives growth, operational excellence and cyber‑resilience across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own a 3‑5‑year Technology & Digital Transformation roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
• Modernise legacy systems, migrate to cloud, and embed AI‑enabled operating models.
• Drive end‑to‑end digital transformation across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, HR and governance.
• Lead enterprise architecture, applications landscape, infrastructure and integration platforms.
• Oversee ERP, CRM, WMS, MES, PLM and BI platform strategy and governance.
• Establish cybersecurity, data‑privacy and resilience frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, SOX‑ITGC, etc.).
• Build a unified data strategy, enable real‑time dashboards, predictive analytics and AI‑driven decision support.
• Chair the Technology Investment Committee, prioritize initiatives and manage budgets, vendors and contracts.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing technology organization, embedding agile, product‑oriented operating models.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a C‑level technology leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale digital transformation and cloud migration projects.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to influence board‑level discussions and present investment cases.
