Civil Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Technician to support the inspection, maintenance, repair and construction of civil infrastructure and facilities. The role provides technical assistance to operations and project teams, ensuring that all civil works meet project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, maintenance and repair of civil structures, facilities and infrastructure.
• Support construction and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site activities and report any structural or operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to support project execution.
• Assist in planning and monitoring maintenance schedules and civil work activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities and project progress.
• Participate in troubleshooting site‑related issues and identifying corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related technical qualification; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of statutory regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Basic problem‑solving, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with quality standards and site inspection procedures.
