Clearance Agent (Riyadh)

About the role

The Clearance Agent will ensure timely customs clearance of inbound and outbound shipments at the Riyadh gateway. You will support customers, consignees and internal teams to resolve clearance issues while maintaining compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit export customs declarations and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer databases and update shipment status.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding held or restricted shipments.
• Assist consignees in clearing sensitive or restricted goods.
• Liaise with customs officials on duties, taxes and problem shipments.
• Manage inventory of on‑hold shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• At least 18 months of experience in a customs, logistics or support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel, including intermediate formula knowledge.
