Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our dialysis centre in Riyadh. The pharmacist will ensure safe and effective medication management for patients receiving hemodialysis and home dialysis, supporting the clinical team and contributing to high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and dispense medications according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor medication therapy for dialysis patients, ensuring safety, effectiveness and appropriate dose adjustments.
• Identify and prevent drug interactions, contraindications and medication errors.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimise treatment plans.
• Provide patient counselling on medication use, adherence and possible side effects.
• Manage pharmacy inventory – procurement planning, stock monitoring, expiry tracking and ensuring continuous availability of critical dialysis drugs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with SFDA, MOH and internal regulations.
• Support infection‑control and medication‑safety initiatives, participate in audits, quality‑improvement programmes and accreditation processes.
• Contribute to protocol development and continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration or eligibility.
• Minimum one year of experience in dialysis or nephrology pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of renal pharmacotherapy and dose adjustments for CKD/ESRD patients.
• Fluent Arabic and good English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
