Commercial Head – Maintenance Contracts

About the role

KBR is seeking a Commercial Head to lead the contracting process for maintenance activities at its petro‑chemical plant in Jubail. The role focuses on developing scopes of work, managing tender processes, and ensuring contractor performance aligns with world‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed scopes of work for maintenance projects executed by external contractors.
• Prepare evaluation criteria, preliminary cost estimates, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate pre‑bid meetings, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and award contracts.
• Ensure HSSEQ policies, QA/QC requirements, and KPI targets are embedded in all contracts.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts administration, cost control, and bidding processes for maintenance activities.
• Proven leadership in multicultural environments and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
