Commercial Head – Subcontracts (Maintenance)

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Commercial Head in Jubail. The role manages all activities needed to obtain contracts for maintenance activities carried out by contractors, and to get them executed in the Maintenance Department. It covers scope development, documentation, tendering, awarding and contractor authorization, aiming for world-class performance in maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for maintenance activities carried out by contractors during normal operation of the petrochemical plant
• Develop evaluation criteria and preliminary cost estimates for contracts
• Coordinate and manage preparation of Instructions to Bidders, kick-off meetings with contractors and evaluation of economic offers after technical offers are assessed by the contract responsible
• Ensure HSSEQ policies and programs are applied in each contract under his responsibility
• Ensure QA/QC requirements and KPIs are included in all maintenance contractor performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance
• Minimum 8 years of work-related experience
• Well organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills in large organizations, maturity of judgment under pressure and problem-solving ability
• Strategic thinking, openness to new ideas and ability to deliver business results in a multicultural environment
