Commercial Manager – Dammam, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead all commercial and business development activities for the company in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on Saudi Aramco and related government requirements. Reporting to headquarters, the role covers the full commercial cycle from tendering to invoicing and ensures compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial team and coordinate closely with headquarters.
• Oversee market research, pricing support and competitor analysis.
• Manage proposals, tendering, budgets, documentation and post‑tender negotiations.
• Handle contracts, invoicing, regulatory filings and vessel‑related commercial reporting.
• Support Finance with budgets and monthly updates.
• Build strong client relationships, prioritising Saudi Aramco and its contractors.
• Negotiate payments, collections and keep CRM information up‑to‑date.
• Develop new business pipelines and engage with vessel owners.
• Gather market intelligence and represent the company at industry events.
• Manage government interactions, maintain permits and update Aramco systems monthly.
• Lead ZATCA e‑invoicing compliance and oversee cybersecurity and ESG certifications.
• Lead the invoicing team, support SAP and Aramco portal submissions, prepare supporting documents and follow verification processes.
• Lead IKTVA reporting, data preparation and audit support.
• Coordinate with Operations, insurance, risk, legal and IT on KSA matters.
• Maintain internal commercial reports and track vessel status.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial teams in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco tendering, invoicing and regulatory processes.
• Ability to manage complex contracts and government relations.
• Excellent negotiation and client‑relationship skills.
• Familiarity with finance budgeting and reporting cycles.
