About the role
The Grand Hyatt The Red Sea is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join its culinary team. In this entry‑level position you will support the kitchen operations by preparing high‑quality dishes and delivering consistent, excellent service to guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and plate food items according to Hyatt International standards and outlet concepts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment.
- Assist senior chefs with daily prep, stock control and kitchen mise en place.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Adapt to flexible service demands while upholding quality and safety standards.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Commis Chef or a culinary school diploma with at least two apprenticeships in reputable hotels or restaurants.
- Strong desire to learn, grow and support kitchen operations.
- Good personal hygiene awareness and ability to follow safety protocols.
Required skills
- Basic culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
