Construction Insulation & Painting Supervisor (IPS)

About the role

Met T&S, the employment company of MAIRE group, is looking for a Construction Insulation & Painting Supervisor (IPS) for the AMIRAL project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Painting Supervisor directs subcontractor painting activities so that plant construction works follow erection schedules and project documents, stay within the assigned cost budget and comply with quality and safety procedures and subcontract terms. The position is contractual and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Check the supplier's material and technical documentation delivery schedule against construction schedules and contractual commitments, and act to recover any delays.
• Verify that the equipment and manpower used by the subcontractor are adequate and that the work conforms to design documents, safety regulations and the agreed quality level.
• Prepare the non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate its resolution.
• Detect design errors and, where possible, rectify them or ask the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes.
• Review and approve subcontractors' work progress status sheets.
• Manage vendor specialists.
• Assist the Contract Engineer in defining new prices, preparing subcontract amendments and analysing and discussing claims.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
• NACE, FROSIO or similar certification.
