About the role
The Cost Controller will manage cost control activities for engineering and construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and supervise cost control programs, producing routine cost and financial reports for project managers.
- Support payment applications, verify bottlenecks, and calculate cost impacts of change orders and back charges.
- Review vendor estimates, interface with accounting, procurement, and engineering to maintain common cost coding.
- Perform SAP operations including invoice posting, bond registration, and cash‑flow forecasting.
- Prepare client invoices, monitor subcontract progress, and analyze actual vs. budget performance.
Required profile
- Experience in cost control within oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to plan, implement, and streamline cost procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and lead tasks as needed.
